The United College of Bishops

Bishop Dr. Anthony C. Williams is a pastor, author, retired United States Navy veteran, and international Gospel teacher whose life and ministry reflect more than thirty-five years of faithful service, disciplined leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the Word of God.

 

MINISTRY AND LEADERSHIP

​Bishop Anthony Williams is the founder and pastor of Living Vision Ministries in North Texas. He also co-founded the Living the Vision Foundation, an organization committed to expanding educational opportunities for underserved children through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) initiatives. His leadership extends to The United Gospel Fellowship, a College of Bishops that brings pastors and believers together to proclaim the Gospel and create meaningful change in their local communities.​

 

A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, Bishop Anthony Williams developed a hunger for Scripture at an early age as he sought to understand what it truly means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. At eighteen, he entered the United States Navy and completed basic training in San Diego, California. While serving his country, he taught the Gospel in numerous parts of the world and was entrusted with lay leadership responsibilities for Gospel ministries aboard naval vessels and at naval installations.

In his early twenties, Bishop Loretta Jones of St. Andrews Temple in Norfolk, Virginia, ordained him as a minister. He later served in Sigonella, Italy, where his work through Gospel Fellowship Outreach Ministries received recognition from the Republic of Italy. Over the course of his military and ministry service, Bishop Anthony Williams has traveled to more than thirty-seven countries, preaching and teaching the Gospel and receiving honors both in the United States and abroad.

TEACHING, EDUCATION, AND EPISCOPAL SERVICE

Known for a clear, detailed, and practical approach to Scripture, Bishop Anthony Williams connects biblical truth with real-life experiences that challenge, encourage, and inspire. His teaching calls believers beyond religious routine into spiritual understanding, personal accountability, and transformed living.

 

Bishop Anthony Williams earned a doctorate from Colorado Theological Seminary and holds a second doctorate from St. Thomas University in Pensacola, Florida. In July 2022, he was consecrated to the office of bishop.

FAMILY AND GUIDING FAITH

​Bishop Anthony Williams is married to First Lady Modesta Williams, and together they are the parents of five children. His life and ministry are anchored in the declaration of Acts 27:25 (KJV): “Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.”
